Lorrie has been a nationally certified audiologist since 1997 and has a passion for educating her patients so they understand their hearing loss and solutions to manage it. She is a member of Speech and Audiology Canada (SAC), The Canadian Academy of Audiology (CAA), and is registered with the College of Audiologists and Speech Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO).
Lorrie holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Laurentian University, a Master of Clinical Science Degree in Audiology from the University of Western Ontario, and a Doctorate in Audiology from A.T. Still University in Mesa, Arizona. She is certified in Tinnitus Retraining Therapy (TRT) under Dr. Pawel Jastreboff, and has recently acquired her Certification for Specialised Rehabilitation Programme for Management of Tinnitus, Hyperacusis and Misophonia based on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) under Dr. Hashir Aazh (London, UK). She works with the Northern Ontario School of Medicine (NOSM) as a community learning site, allowing medical students into her practice to observe and learn about the importance of hearing healthcare.

Melanie has been working with Lorrie since 2013 within an audiology practice. She is the friendly voice and first point of contact for our patients, who always feel welcomed by her. Melanie is a valuable source of information and can help you with appointments, hearing aid repairs, and funding related/third party questions.
